Botswana
The Okavango and the Chobe
The Okavango Delta is one of Africa’s last great wilderness experiences — a vast inland sea that floods annually, driving one of the continent’s most spectacular concentrations of waterbirds. Slaty Egret, African Skimmer, Wattled Crane and Pel’s Fishing Owl are among the headline species, all set against a backdrop of elephant, lion and wild dog that makes every day in the bush a compound experience.
We build Botswana itineraries across three zones: the Delta channels and lagoons for waterbirds and riparian forest species, Chobe for raptors and riverside specials, and Savuti for dry-country grassland birds. The combination rarely disappoints. 7–10 days is the standard itinerary.
